Welcome to our beautiful home on the banks of the River Wye.

Our Story

Originally bought as a family home in 2010, we spent five years living on a building site as we slowly but surely brought this amazing 1920’s Fishing Lodge into the 21st Century. The wood-panelled Reception, Boys Room and Dining Room are practically untouched since 1921 and will remain so but almost every other room has been brought up to date. All of the bedrooms have been completely refurbished and updated with modern brand new en-suites. Still a private home, we intend to open our doors as a Bed and Breakfast for just a few weeks a year for big events like the Royal Welsh and Hay Festival.

Heather

Heather has lived in Erwood all her life and recently took early retirement to spend more time gardening and maintaining the grounds.

Chris

Chris moved to Erwood in 2010 after retiring early following the sale of his online business. His dream was always to have a house with a stream at the bottom of the garden…
