Pwll-y-Faedda, Builth Wells
We are just 10 minutes from the Royal Welsh Showground.
Getting here is easy, see below for detailed directions.
How to Find Us
Our official address is Pwll-y-Faedda, Erwood, Builth Wells, LD2 3YS. Being "in the country" there is no street number and indeed no street name. Fortunately if your satnav insists on a road then you can use the A470 as that is where our driveway joins the main road.
There are only two houses with that postcode and we are the one on the river side of the road. You cannot see the house from the road but you will see the two gold "Pwll-y-Faedda" signs on either side of the driveway entrance.
Coming from the North through Builth Wells
Head to Builth Wells and then follow the signs for the town centre, cross the bridge over the River Wye and where the road bends to the right you turn left on to the A470, signposted Brecon and Abergavenny.
Continue out of Builth onto the A470 national speed limit zone and stay on this road for the next 6.4 miles
At around 6 miles you will come to a long straight, at the end of which on the left is our driveway entrance flanked by two gold "Pwll-y-Faedda" signs. If you pass the Erwood Bridge or the Erwood village sign then simply turn around when safe to do so as you have passed us!
Coming from the South through Brecon, Abergavenny or Hereford
From Brecon, follow signs for Builth Wells (A470)
From Abergavenny, follow signs for Brecon (A40), around a mile after passing through Crickhowell turn right on to the A479 signposted Builth Wells (A470). Keep following signs for Builth Wells (A470).
From Hereford, follow signs for Brecon (A438), continue for around 25 miles, passing Whitney on Wye until you reach Glasbury. Turn right at the T-junction, continue for a mile to Three Cocks then turn right again on to the A4079 signposted Builth Wells (A470).
Eventually you will come to the village of Llyswen (with an often enforced 30mph speed limit); continue on the A470 for around 5 miles, through the village of Erwood, past the Erwood bridge and our driveway entrance is 400 yards on the right flanked by two gold "Pwll-y-Faedda" signs.
